Ian Lyall
Director

Ian brings more than 20 years experience working across Government, Business to Business (Direct & Channels) and Business to Consumer markets, particularly working with cross functional teams.  Ian’s passion is experiential learning and use of benchmarking to drive marketing and sales transformation.

Along with facilitation, Ian is a designer of business simulations and highly tailored learning programs based on the experiential learning model.  These enable organisations to align functional groups and unlock their potential for world-class delivery to their stakeholders and customers.

Ian’s career includes working as Director of the Sales Academy for Oracle in Asia Pacific (the world’s 2nd largest IT company), Practice Director for The Synergy Group (a leading Professional Services Consultancy), Global Business Development Director for a top 10 ranked international professional services firm and 6 years as Director of Training for Huthwaite, the world’s leading sales performance consulting firm.

 

In his consulting, design and delivery capacity, Ian has assisted organisations across a diverse array of countries, cultures and industry sectors including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.

Ian is based in Townsville, Australia with regular travel interstate and overseas to work on client projects.

 

Ian’s interests include diving on the Great Barrier Reef with his teenage son (Hamish) and their most recent diving adventure together was the on the wreck of the SS Yongala.
